MathSetuStudents and parents keep asking when the CBSE Class 10 date sheet for 2027 will come out. As of 10 October 2026, we could not find an official CBSE date sheet for the 2027 Class 10 exams. News websites are still describing the schedule as upcoming, and any subject-wise dates you see on other sites should be treated as guesses until CBSE publishes its own notice.
What is reported so far
- The Class 10 board exams are widely expected in February and March 2027, but the dates are not confirmed.
- Class 10 has two board exam phases. Phase 1 is compulsory, and Phase 2 is optional for students who want to improve a score. The better result is counted. This was introduced from the 2025-26 session.
- In each subject the marks are reported as 80 for theory and 20 for internal assessment, and a student needs at least 33% in each subject.
- Sample papers for 2027 were reported to be on the CBSE academic website around the end of September 2026.
When might the date sheet come?
Reports disagree. Some sites expect it in the second half of October, and others in November or December, based on earlier years. Nobody outside CBSE knows the date, so please do not rely on any single guess.
What to do in the meantime
- Do not wait for the date sheet to start. Maths needs weeks of regular practice, not a last-week rush.
- Make a chapter-wise plan with the 30-day plan for Class 10 Maths.
- Practise with the official sample papers, and with our free sample papers and chapter tests.
- Check cbse.gov.in and your school notice board for the official date sheet, and for any change to the syllabus or the exam pattern.
